Inherent Optimism

Believers in the good news of the Gospel are inherently optimistic. I’ve never been able to see a way around this; even as men like Moroni or Ether were witnessing the utter extermination of nations and populations, there was something running deeper within them. It is more important than life itself, and immortally outlives it. It is the knowledge-based hope inherent to God’s gospel.
