Message from ChurchofJesusChrist

Elder Neil L. Andersen shared: “We all come to earth with different talents and qualities, and we all have unique life experiences. But for all of us, placing Jesus Christ first in our lives is the quest of all our lives” ("‘Come unto Me’: The Spiritual Quest of All Our Lives,” Liahona, Aug. 2023, 5)2.

If doubts, challenges, or distractions threaten success in your quest, try these four ideas from Elder Andersen to find strength and stay focused on what’s most important:

  1. Find strength in ordinances and covenants.

    • Temple ordinances and covenants bind us to the Savior and give us access to His strength and power.
  2. Live worthy of the Holy Ghost.

    • By our watching what we do, what we say, and how we spend our time, spiritual light can come more frequently and clearly.
  3. Hold on to spiritual experiences.

    • Recording and reflecting on our own spiritual experiences can bring reassurance and strength through life’s challenges.
  4. Choose faith.

    • Choose to have faith even in difficult times. The Savior is always there to lift us, but we must reach out to Him.
